Elopements

First we meet and chat through what is most important to you and your partner and your vision for the day.  We can meet in person or via video call.

• I can advise you on options and the legal requirements.

Next we're ready to begin planning your ceremony.  I can help provide creative input for the day, help you write vows, talk through locations, who will be involved, how the ceremony will run.   A well planned ceremony means that you both enjoy a smooth, stress free day that is yours.   

• You will get a "run sheet" for the ceremony. 

• Advice on locations and involvement of those important to you.  

• Help with the legal requirements of your wedding licence.

• Ceremony is to be less than 2 hours, excluding travel time, and no more than 20 guests.  

• Elopements  begin at $320, not including travel or additional elements.   A 20% non refundable deposit paid to secure your date and time and to begin the planning phase.  The balance is to be paid 10 working days before your ceremony date.  

To ensure you are relaxed and confident about the day, we include a quick rehearsal of the ceremony, a day or two before.     

• Work through the run sheet for the ceremony. 

• Can be done face to face or via video call.  

• Check that all documentation is ready.

• Part of elopement package, unless a more detailed run through is selected, then it is charged at $50 per hour.      

The day has arrived.  My job is to ensure it runs smoothly, and matches the vision you had when we first chatted.    

• All documentation is signed and sent away to the Registrar.

• Travel, outside of the Central Taranaki district (New Plymouth, Omata, Bell Block, Lepperton, Waitara, Inglewood) is charged at 0.80 cents per kilometre.  

• Any other additional elements, expenses will be discussed and confirmed before the big day.
