Renewal of vows

First we meet and chat through what you want for your renewal ceremony.  Because you will already be in a partnership (marriage or civil union) there is not the legal requirements.    

• Free of charge, half an hour chat. 

• There is no obligations at this point.  It's important you both choose the celebrant that you feel comfortable with. 

Ready to begin planning??  Next we begin to plan your renewal ceremony.  This can be as involved or as simple as you would like.  My aim is to help you plan exactly what you want for your renewal or your vows.  

• 1-2 meetings to build your ceremony, including creative input into readings, vows, music, setting, if you'd like this.

• You will get vision document which summarises our discussions and then, following this, a detailed "run sheet" for the ceremony. 

• Advice on locations and involvement of those important to you.  

• Access to me via text, phone and video call leading up to the day.

• This package is difficult to price, as it all depends on what you want from the day.  I will develop a quote for you after our first meeting.  But to give you a rough guide:  A 1-2 hour ceremony in Central Taranaki (New Plymouth, Omata, Bell Block, Lepperton, Waitara, Inglewood) would be approximately  $320.   A more involved ceremony would be approximately $550 .  Ceremonies outside of Central Taranaki will incur a travel cost at 0.80 cents per kilometre.  

• A 20% non refundable deposit paid to secure your date and time and to begin the planning phase.  The balance is to be paid 10 working days before your ceremony date.

To ensure you are relaxed and confident about the day, we suggest a rehearsal of the ceremony, a day or two before.  This can either be done face to face or via video call.  I will be there to go through the ceremony with you and make any last minute adjustments.       

• Work through the run sheet for the ceremony. 

• I'll help calm any nerves and build excitement.  

The day has arrived.  My job is to ensure it runs smoothly, and matches the vision you had when we first chatted. 

• Conduct the ceremony and I'm there for you before, during and after the ceremony.  

• I will print for you a beautiful copy of your ceremony script, as a keep sake.

• Travel for the day, outside of the Central Taranaki district (New Plymouth, Omata, Bell Block, Lepperton, Waitara, Inglewood) is charged at 0.80 cents per kilometre.  

• Any other additional elements, expenses will be discussed and confirmed before the big day.
